The cemetery of Bonaria has a very old origin: from the Phoenicians and Punics to the Roman domination and the early Christian burials. In 1827, after the Napoleon’s edict of St. Cloud was issued, this area became an air-open museum, an art and history gallery where different artistic styles are mixed: the Monumental Cemetery.

Along our itinerary we will discover the history of the city through the personalities who had contributed to write it.
